I gotta tell you, for being Assassins, they sure are soft and cuddly. LOL I think I enjoyed this second bundle even more than the first. What a fun bunch of Vampire Assassins. They just kind of are out doing their Assassin thing and BAM! They meet their mate and turn into complete idiots. Idiots of Love... LOL They forget how to talk, how to act and it really can be very humorous. I think I giggled through most of this bundle. I get that they really haven't had a lot of interaction with the opposite sex until they meet their mate. And some of them have been alive/dead for hundreds of years. And times have changed since they did any courting or wooing.If you're looking for a somewhat predictable love story with a whole lot of fun entertainment in between, then you really need to read this series. This is the second bundle of four mini stories all involving the Vampire Assassin League, so a lot of the same characters carry through all of the books, but each story can be read alone and still enjoyed. They all have a start to that couple's story and an ending with no major cliffhangers.

This author is not writing to her potential. The story of Garrick could of been a really great full novel . If she took each one of these short story's an made them into full novels I would invest again . But it's like she's ADD . I'm not being mean , the author has a great foundation an could be right up there with Christine Feehan.
I loved them all. I just couldn't put it down until I finished reading it from front to back. Another. Fantastic series from Jackie
The stories are short but good and interesting. Each couple complicated but just right for each other. Can't wait for the next bundle

TOGETHER TO JOIN - Great take on the "vampire finds true mate" theme. In this one, a Hunter gets taken by a vampire and ends up trussed and at the fingertips of an angelic woman with the kiss of paradise to her fingers. The last thing he wants is to be a vampire mate - until it happens.
THIS MAN AND WOMAN - This one might be my fave Vampire Assassin League novella. I absolute fell in love with French vampire Jean-Pierre. He is so funny. He thinks every lady who comes across him will be smitten with his looks, his charm, and his physique. He has his hands full with the ninja, Takaiya. That woman is fast and lethal. Their duel is a really fast and fun read as he tries to keep his vampire side from taking over.
FOREVER AS ONE - I really could fall for a young, hunky Viking - especially one as gorgeous as Dane. This particular vampire owns a string of clubs where he tends bar. It's the best way to hide out, since he looks barely twenty-one. His mate, Evangeline, on the other hand, is solid class. The last thing she wants it a rich playboy and this lifestyle. Great pairing.
SHOULD THERE BE - Vampire Rafael seems to have one thing on his agenda Taking. He's a little miffed at losing a Type O fix when sent on an assignment, so when he gets a call for help from a woman who just happens to have that blood type - well...Rafael doesn't waste time going to her "aid". Then he tastes her, and instantly everything in his world is different. He even has to find a chivalrous side. Great fun.
Each story is about a member of the vampire assassin league and how they meet their true mate. This is the one life mate that will bring them back feeling and a heartbeat. Not all vampires are lucky enough to find a true-life mate and they exist in a dark world. Under in The Assassin League they contract their hits. Interestingly it is always at a high price and at the discretion of their leader who always seems to have an inkling that a particular assignment is going to change that particular vampire assassin’s life forever. Read one book and you will be hooked and want more. Join Jackie Ivie in the adventures that she creates for our pure reading pleasure. Each Paranormal story will give you a romance you will not soon forget.

I love this series and everything about it. These books keep you engaged and it refuses to let you go once you come into the Vampire Assassins League. Akron is and will always take care of his people and when our vampires find their mates no one and I mean no one will come between them. Get into this series you will not be disappointed. Jackie Ivie rocks as always.
